Q. What is Total Racing Solutions… a news agency, a suspension center or what?

A. Total Racing Solutions (TRS) is the original corporation started by James Bhathena after selling Brighton Superbike. At the beginning of 2007 TRS was split into two separate companies, ‘TRS MultiMedia’ the company responsible for this site as well as all media and production behind the TRS brand. The second company is ‘Team-TRS’, an Öhlins Suspension Center and motorcycle road race team. ‘Total Racing Solutions’ and totalracingsolutions.com have been retained as trademarks by TRS MultiMedia. The two companies are related but organizationally they are completely separate. TRS MultiMedia neither assumes nor implies responsibility for any liability on behalf of or with regards to Team-TRS. In the future you may see Team-TRS move off this website completely but for now we don’t see it as a priority.

Q. Does TRS MultiMedia accept third party ads?

A. We do, although we consider it a compliment that you ask. We work hard to keep the site congruent and un-abrasive. We actually represent our contributors and advertisers in several ways, weather it’s on the site or as part of the sponsorship package that Team-TRS runs under, we have promotional packages to fit all budgets. We do not and will not put up those nasty banners that you see so often. We have a different idea of how the net works and how users absorb usable and valuable information. Don’t worry; we’ll handle all the coding necessary to put the smooth, professional look in order for your organization’s promotion to pay off. Please contact us for further details.

Q. Why is suspension so expensive?

A. There are two main reasons for the cost. First: The tolerances and materials involved in state-of-the art suspensions are expensive and hard to maintain. The products are built in low numbers and with exacting standards. For example, the production cost of a stock shock on the average sport bike is somewhere in the $50.00 range. The production cost of a quality aftermarket shock would be about 10 times that figure. Second: The market is limited. Less than 10% of all performance motorsports products ever see after-market suspension components. The power-sports industry is a small market in the first place.

Q. What can I expect if I choose to do business with Team-TRS?

A. In addition to supplying the best components available, we guarantee the highest attention to detail, period. We are fully committed to the long-term relationship, it is essential in chassis development. Support after the sale is paramount to the success of the services invoked.

Q. Does Team-TRS compete on pricing?

A. Of course. Having said that, we only carry a line that we consider to be the best products available. If you have a question about pricing please contact us directly.

Q. Does Team-TRS offer support to racers?

A. Yes. The first step is to fill out the secure racer support located on the website. Our support department will then contact you to review your application.
